Following record growth in 2009, Customers Limited (ASX: CUS) is delivering on its vision to be the leading independent provider of ATM and other payment services in Australia and New Zealand.

Customers Limited has one of the largest independent ATM networks in Australia, with more than 5600 terminals throughout the country.

In 2009, Customers recorded its inaugural net profit as an electronic payments system company of $6.24 million after tax. This followed two years of consolidation, restructuring and the implementation of a major banking sector reform: direct charged ATM fees.

Direct charging is a key part of the platform that will enable sustained growth for Customers against a backdrop of strong demand - cash is still the main form of payment for smaller value transactions in Australia.
